The international trio Velkro consists of

"The international band Velkro brought to the (Sajeta) festival more of the alternative rock flavour. Its cornerstone of this aspect was Norwegian guitarist Stephan Meidell. He left a mark on compositions with clear riffs that were compositionally and sonically in the function of bass, whereas stylistically one could place them between post rock, scandinavian ambient aesthetics, classical jazz, avant-garde noise and simple progressions that one would find in indie rock. Meidell expanded his sonic expression also by using bow and looping.
The compositions were held in a state of tension by the Portugese drummer Luis Candeias, who often turned and broke in pieces his quick and fragmented rhythms. In the foreground there was saxophonist Bostjan Simon, who built atmospheres, led the main melodies and hurled himself into intense solos.
It all sounded quite enraging and the overall enthusiasm of the crowd was rewarded with as much as two encores and an apocalyptic end."
